New Madoc Water Supply:

The drinking water system for the Village of Madoc relies on two municipal supply wells ‐ the Rollins Well and the Whytock Well. Each well has its own associated water treatment building. The Rollins Well is considered the primary supply, while the Whytock Well is maintained as a secondary standby well, providing a measure of redundancy. Issues with water quality and quantity, particularly with the Whytock Well, have decreased the overall security of the water system, creating the need for an additional water source. This Schedule B Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (EA) Study is being undertaken to determine the preferred solution for ensuring a reliable municipal drinking water supply to meet existing demand and support future growth in the Village of Madoc.
