Retirement Announcement:
Jeff Bitton started his career in Recreation in 1980 with the Regional Municipality of Waterloo and will be retiring from a career that has spanned over 40 years. Jeff held various positions including Recreation Manager , Adult Programs and Sports Field Coordinator, and Parks Recreation and Culture Coordinator positions with various Municipalities including Waterloo, Halton Hills, Sidney Township, Quinte West, City of Belleville, and for the past 11 years the Municipality of Centre Hastings
Over the years Jeff was involved and coach, convenor, mentor, and board of directors member for various organizations including Kitchener Minor Hockey, Big Brothers of Halton, Wooler Minor Soccer, Playing for Keeps, Jump Start, Community Partners for Success and Loyalist College Recreation Leadership Board of Directors, including for over 10 years as Chairman.
Jeff currently resides in Stirling with his wife Robin and black lab Maggie. Jeff has thoroughly enjoyed his career in recreation, especially his time spent with Centre Hastings.
