Arena Roof Recognition Event

On Saturday, October 5th, at 3:00 p.m., Hastings – Lennox & Addington MPP Ric Bresee will be at the Madoc & District Recreation Centre (Arena) to commemorate the receipt of a grant from the Ontario government, provided through the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). This funding has facilitated the much-needed rehabilitation of the Arena's roof.

With this upgrade, the facility, which is co-funded by the Township of Madoc and the Municipality of Centre Hastings, will enjoy an extended lifespan of 15 years, ensuring that the community continues to have access to recreational activities.

Additionally, there will be free public skating at the Arena from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
