Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing superior customer service to residents and ratepayers accessing municipal services, and processing of various payments and handling cheques and cash for balancing and depositing purposes. The key duties of this position require exceptional organizational and accuracy skills in combination with an ability to manage multiple tasks while adhering to deadlines as well as provides exceptional customer service to the public, at the front counter and by telephone, and to internal departments.

Current Summer Student Opportunities
The Municipality of Centre Hastings is offering a wide range of summer employment opportunities this season. Numerous positions are available across different municipal departments and recreational facilities.
These positions are being applied for under the Canada Summer Jobs Grant Program which requires that the successful candidates are between the ages of 15 - 30 years old. Please note the availability of these positions is subject to Municipal Council and funding approvals.
The Municipality of Centre Hastings is offering a summer employment opportunity at the Ivanhoe Canteen for the upcoming 2024 ball season. We are currently looking for a part-time Canteen Worker to join our team.
