Centre Hastings Fire Department Receives Grant Funding from the Royal Canadian Legion Grant

On Tuesday, March 5th at Centre Hastings Fire Department Station 2, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 363 Madoc acknowledged the Centre Hastings Fire Department was a successful applicant through the Legion Grant.

Centre Hastings Fire Department has been granted more than $121,000 since 2003 to acquire new medical equipment for frontline medical and emergency assistance.

These tools serve as an asset, equipping our volunteer firefighters with the necessary resources. The new medical equipment provides our community with the greatest opportunities during their moments of need.

The Fire Department will be able to acquire additional defibrillators, suction machines, and oximeters with the newly acquired funds.

The Centre Hastings Fire Department wishes to express gratitude to the Madoc Legion Branch 363 for their continuous support and aid in acquiring important new equipment.
