December 11th,2024 Council Meeting Recognized Staff & Volunteers For Dedicated Years Of Service!
During the Regular Council meeting held last week, December 11th,2024 at 5pm, the Municipality of Centre Hastings conducted our Staff Service Award presentations. We extend our gratitude to all staff and volunteers for their dedication to their roles and the community, with particular recognition given to the following individuals for this year.
Acknowledgment of service of the Municipality of Centre Hastings:

Ady Vos – 10 years
Paul Courneya – 15 years
Acknowledgement of service for the Centre Hastings Fire Department:
Jeff Newman - 25 years (medal and OFM certificate)
Matthew Tebworth – 15 years
Brandon Albert – 10 years
Dalton Gooderham – 10 years
Mike Dougherty – 10 years
Tristan Jonas – 5 years
Christine McEachern – 5 years

The Council Meeting held on December 11th, 2024, at the Huntingdon Veterans Community Hall featured the presentation of a Service Award and acknowledgment of Years of Service for staff and members of the Centre Hastings Fire Department.
Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk Typhany Choinard was presented with a certificate recognizing her five years of service by the Council.
Deputy Chief Jeff Newman has been awarded a certificate in acknowledgment of his 25 years of dedicated service, along with 25 service medals and an OFM certificate, by the Council. Deputy Chief Jeff Newman’s wife, Jen Newman, was also honoured for her contributions to the Centre Hastings Fire Department.
Dalton Gooderham was presented with a certificate recognizing his ten years of service by Fire Chief Derek Snider & Councillor Kevin McLaughlin.
Mike Dougherty was presented with a certificate recognizing his ten years of service by Fire Chief Derek Snider & Councillor Kevin McLaughlin.
Christine McEachern was presented with a certificate recognizing her five years of service by Fire Chief Derek Snider & Councillor Judy Brant.
John Meszaros was presented with a certificate recognizing his five years of service by Fire Chief Derek Snider & Councillor Judy Brant.
