Eclipse Day

Eclipse Day
We hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience watching the solar eclipse today. Here are a few safety tips provided by health officials and safety management.
-Please ensure that you exclusively utilize eyeglasses equipped with specialized filters that comply with the ISO 12312-2 international standard.
-Standard sunglasses or DIY filters are not sufficient to safeguard your eyes.
-Solar glasses that are certified are 1000 times darker than standard sunglasses.
-Never look directly at the Sun through binoculars, a telescope, or with your naked eye as it is extremely dangerous.
If you are considering traveling to regions where the total solar eclipse will take place, it is important to keep in mind some driving safety tips:
-Do not stop on the shoulders.
-Any photographs should be taken in a safe area, far away from traffic.
-Turn on headlights in dark conditions.
-Watch for pedestrians.
