Extreme Heat and Humidity Warning: Cooling Stations Available

Due to ongoing extreme heat conditions expected to last through mid-week, residents are encouraged to take necessary precautions to stay safe and cool.

Cooling Stations:

  • Municipal Office: Open today from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

  • Madoc Public Library: Open Tuesday to Saturday during regular hours

Both facilities are available to the public as cooling stations. Please feel free to visit and take advantage of these safe, air-conditioned spaces.

Heat Safety Tips:

  • 💧 Drink plenty of water throughout the day

  • 👕 Wear light, breathable clothing

  • 🕒 Avoid strenuous activities during peak heat hours (usually between 11 AM and 4 PM)

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and look out for vulnerable neighbors or loved ones.
