The Municipality of Centre Hastings Council, management, and staff are deeply saddened by the passing of Doug Parks, our former long-serving Clerk–Treasurer.

Doug dedicated 30 years of exceptional public service to our local government, guiding our community through significant milestones, including his service to the Village of Madoc and the transitioned amalgamation into the Municipality of Centre Hastings.

Doug truly loved working for his community and its people, leaving a lasting impact through his dedication, professional leadership, and his playful sense of humour and wit. The Municipality offers its most sincere condolences to Doug's family, friends, and the many community members who knew him.
