CENTRE HASTINGS -
A tragic incident has been reported recently on news channels across the country. An Ontario man was charged with animal cruelty leading to the death of 19 dogs in Newfoundland and Labrador. The man was reported as staying in the old Centre Hastings Parks and Recreation red truck in an individual’s back yard in Eastern Newfoundland.
The Municipality of Centre Hastings sold this truck via an approved auction process back in March of this year and have no knowledge of, or affiliation with the owner or individuals associated with this atrocity. Our hearts go out to the 19 dogs that died and others who were neglected and poorly treated, we are deeply saddened to hear about this event.
