Important Notice

The Municipality of Centre Hastings is still in a Restricted Fire Zone ( RFZ ). as of June 19th, 2023. Restricted Fire Zone ( RFZ ) is an order made by the Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry, under the Forest Fires Prevention Act restricting the use of open fires in a specific area of the province

The Fire Chief declared the fire ban for the Municipality of Centre Hastings on June 2nd,2023. Centre Hastings is continuing to follow the implemented guidelines and instruction provided by the ministry.

All outdoor burning is prohibited. The fire ban will be in effect until further notice.
