June 8th, 2023 Important Notice: Park & Splash Pad Re-Opened

Please be advised that the Park and Splash Pad will be open today from 9:30am – 4pm. We are still in a Moderate Air Quality situation and both the Province and Public Health Authority acknowledge that children and youth can be at a higher risk.

In light of this we will be keeping our concessions closed today (Ice Cream Shack, Rental booth and Canteen) to protect the health of our summer student staff and to encourage shorter visits.  

We do ask the community to continue to be cautious and to use your best judgment as to whether it is safe for you and your family to be outside.

We will continue to monitor the situation and will reassess the opening situation daily until the air quality returns to typical levels. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
