Notice to Residents – Village of Madoc Sewer Flushing Advisory

The Municipality will begin high-pressure sewer flushing throughout the Village of Madoc on Thursday, November 27th, 2025.

During sewer flushing operations, air pressure may travel up the sanitary service lateral into homes and buildings. While this work should not impact your service, there is a small chance you may experience noise or minor odours.

As a precaution, residents are advised to:

• Keep toilet lids closed when not in use.
  • Flush toilets after every use.
