PRECAUTIONARY BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED & WATER USE RESTRICTION NOTICE CONTINUES
PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Municipality of Centre Hastings wishes to advise residents and businesses that the precautionary boil water advisory issued on September 19th 2024 for those connected to the municipal drinking water supply in the Village of Madoc has been LIFTED.
The Operating Authority has consulted with the Health Unit and they have advised the water is safe for all users; there were no adverse water quality issues during the emergency maintenance and repairs. You should no longer be experiencing service interruptions.
The Municipality of Centre Hastings also wishes to remind residents and businesses that the water use restriction notice issued on September 18th 2024 for those connected to the municipal drinking water supply in the Village of Madoc CONTINUES and is still in place. We kindly ask residents to continue to reduce water consumption and non-essential water use. This advisory will remain in place until further notice.
