Public Notice: Impact on Municipal Services Due to Postal Strike

In light of the Canada Post disruption, we would like to advise residents to avoid putting any payments or time-sensitive documents in the mail for the time being. 

The Municipality offers the following alternative payment options for property taxes, utility bills, and more: 

• Financial Institution Payments – Telephone/Online Banking: Property tax and utility payments may be made at any financial institution or through your bank’s telephone or online banking services or mobile app. Simply search “Centre Hastings”.                                                                                                                 
• Pre-authorized Payment Plans: Property tax pre-authorized payment forms and utility pre-authorized payment forms are available online at www.centrehastings.com/finance                                                            
• Drop Box: Located at the Municipal Office (7 Furnace Street) next to the entrance door. As a reminder, please do not include cash in the drop box.                                                                                             
• In-Person: Payments can be made at the Municipal Office (7 Furnace Street) Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or until 1:30 p.m. on Fridays.

All other non-bill correspondence for the Municipality should be dropped off at the Municipal Office Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m or until 1:30 p.m. on Fridays.
