Remembrance Day Services in Centre Hastings

Two Remembrance Day Services will take place in Centre Hastings to honour and commemorate the sacrifices made by veterans and active military personnel. These services will provide an opportunity for the community to come together in reflection and gratitude, paying tribute to those who have served in the armed forces.

Huntingdon Rec Committee: Ivanhoe Remembrance Day Service

The Ivanhoe Cenotaph is located at 11379 Highway 62, Ivanhoe, ON K0K 2K0.

Madoc Remembrance Day Service

Monday, November 11th,2024 at 10:55 a.m.
The Madoc Cenotaph is located at 155 St Lawrence St E, Madoc, ON K0K 2K0

The parade will assemble at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 363 at 10:00 a.m., with the parade scheduled to commence at 10:30 a.m. and proceed to the cenotaph.

Please note to arrive early, as roads from Durham/St. Lawrence Street will be closed all the way to Wellington Street, including all streets in between to the north and south, as well as the Foodland parking area.

Canadian Armed Forces fly-by requests have been submitted for both Remembrance Day Services. Once confirmed, details will be provided.
