Rural Leaf Pick-Up (Week of October 14th, 2024)

The municipality will be collecting Leaf and Yard Waste exclusively on your designated waste pickup day. For rural areas, the collection will take place during the week of October 14th, with the next pickup scheduled for the week of October 28th.

Madoc Village Pickup:
– Week of October 21st
– Week of November 4th

Acceptable Material:
– Grass clippings, twigs/branches, leaves, plant material (no soil).

Unacceptable Material:
– Sod/soil, stumps and root balls, rock and stones, plastic of any kind.

Requirements:
Have your leaf and yard waste out by 7:00am on your regular pickup day during the weeks above. Tie brush into bundles no longer than 3ft. with material no larger than 2″ in diameter. Only use paper yard waste bags. Each bag must not weigh more than 40lbs (18kg). Roll the bags down to keep out rain and snow.
