Expect heavy snowfall and freezing rain today, with 15-20 cm of snow and potentially more in some areas. Travel conditions will be dangerous. This weather event will last from morning/early afternoon until tonight. A major winter storm will hit southern Ontario, bringing intense snowfall and a risk of freezing rain. Later tonight, the snow will transition into rain as temperatures rise above freezing.
