Now Recruiting – Volunteer Firefighters Centre Hastings Fire Department – Station 2 (Madoc)

The Centre Hastings Fire Department is currently accepting applications for dedicated Volunteer Firefighters to join our team at Station 2 in Madoc.

Volunteer firefighters play a vital role in protecting our community by responding to a wide range of emergencies, including fire suppression, medical calls, motor vehicle collisions, and public assistance incidents. Members also participate in ongoing training, fire prevention initiatives, and community engagement activities.

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence
  • Residence within a reasonable response distance of Station 2 (Madoc)
  • Availability for scheduled training and emergency responses
  • Physically fit and capable of performing firefighting duties
  • NFPA Firefighter Level I & II certification
  • Valid Class DZ Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Comprehensive training and certification opportunities
