Now Recruiting – Volunteer Firefighters Centre Hastings Fire Department – Station 2 (Madoc)

The Centre Hastings Fire Department is currently accepting applications for dedicated Volunteer Firefighters to join our team at Station 2 in Madoc.

Volunteer firefighters play a vital role in protecting our community by responding to a wide range of emergencies, including fire suppression, medical calls, motor vehicle collisions, and public assistance incidents. Members also participate in ongoing training, fire prevention initiatives, and community engagement activities.

18 years of age or older
Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s Licence
Residence within a reasonable response distance of Station 2 (Madoc)
Availability for scheduled training and emergency responses
Physically fit and capable of performing firefighting duties

NFPA Firefighter Level I & II certification
Valid Class DZ Driver’s Licence
Current First Aid and CPR certification
